Sir Jack Brabham has agreed to attend the event, be our guest of honour and be present for naming the “D” circuit “The Sir Jack Brabham Reserve.”
This is great news and I know motoring enthusiasts will be looking forward to meeting him on the day. On Saturday evening, the 14 th of November, we will be holding a “Meet and Greet” at the Club House from  6.30 - 8.30 to welcome Sir Jack back to Caversham and to hear him reminisce about his experiences, not only at the circuit but as a three- time world champion.
This will be a ticket only affair and the numbers will be limited. Finger foods, beer and wine will be provided at a cost of $60 per head. The politicians, at both State and Local level, and representatives from the other organisations that have helped us with Caversham will be invited as special guests. This will give them an opportunity to meet Sir Jack, but more importantly, to see the Club Rooms and have an understanding of what we are fighting to save.
Historic Aircraft are flying in on the day. We expect up to twelve aircraft, including a rare Stinson, a Steerman, Tiger Moths and a Chipmunk.
There will be twenty five car and motorbike club displays, entertainment for families, an autokana, vintage bus rides and tours around the “D” circuit.
