EAMC Membership Information

Dear prospective member.

Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the Early American Motorcycle Club Inc. which was founded in 1999.

The main emphasis of the Club is for social activities to be enjoyed with people of similar interests. Our rides are fun, easy paced and relaxed. The Committee proposes a Calendar of Events. These events include short and long rides. All members are encouraged to attend both short and long rides.

The Calendar of Events includes a weekend overnighter to Collie, a two day event at Bunbury in March, an Old Time American Challenge to York, The President's Ride, a Mystery Ride, Albany Hill Climb, a ride concluding at the Ravenswood Hotel plus other rides as organised by the Committee. There is something on each month.

Personal Rides are also encouraged. These impromptu rides whereby members and friends just go for a jaunt, are sanctioned by the Committee provided prior notification is given via the Register a Ride

Major emphases of the Club are machine maintenance, preservation and use, rider safe practices and positive personal behaviour. There is an Inspection morning each February whereby members may get their bikes inspected for roadworthiness.

The Club publishes a monthly magazine called FlatChat. In this magazine are recent Committee Meeting minutes, Calendar of Events, Ride coordinator’s report, write ups and photos of recent events and technical tips.

Members may invite guests to attend rides. Members should apprise guests of the objective of the Club. It is not a requirement of the club for a member or guest to own a pre 1966 machine but it is encouraged.
